With six wins from eight outings, the Royal Challengers Bangalore are gradually moving towards the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 playoffs.

Last week, RCB lost out to KXIP on Thursday, before bouncing back against Rajasthan Royals on Saturday. With 12 points won from a possible 18, RCB only needs four points to confirm a playoff birth.

Ahead of their game against KKR on Wednesday, a video skipper Virat Kohli went viral on social media. In the video, Virat can be seen imitating RR skipper Steve Smith’s batting stance.

Over the years, Virat and Smith have crossed paths on several occasions, whether its international cricket or IPL. However, there rivalry was only fueled after the 2015 World Cup in Australia.

For the past 3-4 years, both Virat and Smith have been on top of their game, with consistent performances across all formats. Moreover, the duo has had quite a few arguments on the pitch, because of their aggressive and hot-headed approach.

However, last year during the ICC World Cup in England, their relationship took a detour when some spectators were trying to troll Smith for his ball-tampering while he was fielding at the boundary.

Virat, though, didn’t like this attitude of the crowd and urged the fans to appreciate Smith, instead of booing him. Virat even won the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) ‘Spirit of Cricket Award’ for his sweet gesture.
