Indian skipper Virat Kohli has failed to convert fifties into hundreds in the ongoing World Cup. The right hand batsman, who has hit five consecutive fifties in the tournament so far, is stuck on 41 tons in one-day internationals.

When he was asked about his recent failure to convert fifties into hundreds, Kohli said that he doesn’t need to ponder this aspect as he has already done it a lot of times in his career.

“I don’t need to sit down and assess how to convert those (fifties into hundreds), I have done that a lot of times in the past. I’m really enjoying the way I’m batting at the moment. It’s just about contributing to the team,” he said.
