Yuvraj booked for domestic violence

Time is not right for Yuvraj Singh, who has landed in a problem. The left hand batsman, who is no more part of the Indian team on account of his poor form, has been booked for domestic violence. His sister in law Akanksha has filed a domestic violence case against the cricketer, her mother-in-law (Shabnam) and her husband (Zorawar).

The former Bigg Boss contestant has stated that she will speak about the whole matter during the case's first hearing on October 21.

Her lawyer has also confirmed this piece of news.

"Yes, Akanksha has filed a case of domestic violence against Yuvraj, her husband Zoravar and their mother Shabnam."

When asked about Yuvraj Singh’s involvement in domestic violence, the lawyer justified his name.

"Look, domestic violence does not mean just physical violence. It also means mental and financial torture, which can be attributed to Yuvraj. Yuvraj was a mute spectator to the suffering caused to my client by Zoravar and his mother," the lawyer said.

"When Yuvraj and Zoravar's mother was pressurising Akanksha to have a baby, Yuvraj too had joined in to do the same. He too told Akanksha 'to have a baby'. He was hand-in-glove with his mother," he revealed.

“Yuvraj would even tell Akanksha that she should obey his mother because she was the most superior person in the house,” she added, “Really, that lady is extremely dominant. Zoravar and Akanksha were at her mercy for every decision. Yuvraj even told Akanksha that if she does not toe the line then she has no place in that house,” the lawyer concluded.
