Massive boost for Kolkata Knight Riders, star batsman does not need shoulder surgery

He had dislocated right shoulder in an attempt to shield the ball from going towards boundary in the finale of the T20 Tri Series between Australia, England and New Zealand.

Chris Lynn can easily be termed as the most unlucky cricket of the modern era after another spell of injury.

The man has already been operated couple of times on his left shoulder and now his right shoulder gave up, popping out of the socket during the game. Finally, the luck didn’t ran out for him as the expert has confirmed that the Australian talisman doesn’t require surgery, giving his hopes of playing for KKR in the Indian Premier League, a massive boost.

"Chris got a positive result from the doctors who said he will not need surgery," Lynn's manager Stephen Atkinson told Brisbane's Courier Mail.

"Chris is disappointed at missing the Pakistan Super League but he will be making every effort to play in the Indian Premier League and, if selected, the five one-dayers for Australia in England in June."

The latest injury bout has already ruled him out of the Pakistan Premier League but he is ready to set himself on course for the Indian Premier League where he would turn up for the two-time champion side Kolkata Knight Riders.
