Harsha Bhogle slams World XI for their loss

It was a festive night in Pakistan as they defeated the World XI side by 20 runs to celebrate the return of international cricket to the country. However, prominent Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle didn't looked to convinced by the performance of the visitors led by South African skipper Faf Du Plessis and ridiculed them for their bizarre outing in the inaugural game. Harsha in his tweet wrote, “The best thing about World XI kind of teams. They always attract a lot of attention and they always lose.”

Though he did tried to cover his statement by yet another tweet which was captioned as, “Having said that, I don't think this series is about who is in the "World XI". It is about playing cricket in Pakistan.”

In a bid to revive the international cricket, World XI side are playing a three T-20 series in Pakistan. Tight security arrangement were taken to avoid any mishap as long before the match started at 7:00PM (1400GMT), around 9,000 police officers and paramilitary forces were deployed to the area, cordoning off the team's hotels and stadium.
